36k Snow Golem Obsidian Farm

Farm continues to run even when no players are present, as it acts as a chunk loader after starting. The farm will run indefinitely until a server restart (or leaving the game in singleplayer).

Occasionally, Nether portals may be destroyed immediately after being created. This will prevent the obsidian from being transported to the nether. If this occurs, activate the side portal for Nether entry, wait 15 seconds for the chunk loading ticket to expire, and restart the farm.

If the farm is started incorrectly and items are sent from the Nether while the Overworld remains unloaded, Nether portals may be created outside the farm due to desynced snow golem attack delay. If this occurs, destroy any stray nether Portals and restart the farm.

Do not build in biomes with a base temperature greater than 1.

Ensure there are no 4x3 platforms in the vicinity of the farm in the Overworld to prevent stray Nether portals. It is recommended to build the farm at least 30 blocks above the ground and away from oceans (to make any stray portals spawn aboveground, making them easier to locate).

Enter the Nether via a side portal. The structure does not need to be on the Nether roof.

Ensure the Overworld side and Nether side are aligned, with the y-levels of the Nether side being greater than or equal to that of the Overworld side, and the x- and z-coordinates matching between dimensions with a 1:8 ratio.

Prefill the bottom dropper on the Nether side with 20 items (ideally obsidian), place the minecart on the rail, start the 1 second interval timer, and return to the Overworld.
